Thirty two years ago Mary-Kate Olsen And Ashley Olsen welded Double, double work and trouble.
By this time the seven year old twins were already the youngest self-made millionaires. After starting her career at the ripe age of 8 months with the co-starring role of Michelle Tanner in the TV series Full houseMary-Kate and Ashley quickly grew their empire. Child stars turned fashion designers created their own company, Dualstar, which subsequently produced all of their films directly to VHS, including, of course, Double, double work and trouble.
The television movie premiered on ABC on October 30, 1993 and subsequently became somewhat overlooked Halloween offerexcept for the diehard Olsen twins fans who grew up obsessed with the sisters' songs and films. But Double, double work and trouble filled with plenty of '90s nostalgia, WTF moments, and a cast that also includes Eric McCormack (although he previously admitted that he hadn't actually seen the film).
“No, I never have,” Will and Grace The alum, who wasn't a big fan of his long run in the film, said Entertainment Weekly in 2021. “It’s hard to go back and see…certain images. Plus, I had probably been doing television for a year and a half now, so I was still trying to adapt my stage acting to the camera. Maybe I was scared to go back and watch it.”
