We got our first look at the upcoming Wonder Man series, but Marvel has a number of shows in development. Except Wonder ManHowever, the company didn't show up at New York Comic Con with a firm release date for anything. The best we got were some wide release windows and some interesting details about what's to come.
Season two Your Friendly Neighbor Spider-Man release is scheduled for autumn 2026. Many details are still unknown, but Marvel Television and Marvel Animation head Brad Winderbaum said the story will contain a “black, gooey substance.” Let's hope the show handles this storyline a little better than Sam Raimi did. Spider-Man 3 did.
X-Men '97 will also receive a second season, scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2026. Eric and Julia Lewald, writers X-Men: The Animated Seriesand Larry Huston, who directed much of the original series, will join the show as executive producers.
But before that we have one more season waiting for us Daredevil: Born Again in March, and a third season is confirmed to be in development. Season 1 Born again was a little unevenbut the back half was surprisingly strong. We're intrigued to see where the show will go, and even more so now that Krysten Ritter is back in the game. Jessica Jones.
Finally, Winderbaum confirmed that VisionQuest plan to complete the storyline that began with WandaVision sometime in 2026. Although no more specific dates have been specified.
