A new adventure awaits in MapleStory: Idle RPG
Nexon announced that MapleStory: Idle RPG will release worldwide on November 5, 2025 at 7:00 pm PT, bringing the charm of the beloved MapleStory universe to mobile platforms. Designed as a new action-adventure RPG, the game offers nostalgic fans and newcomers alike an easy way to experience the world of MapleStory through casual yet fun gameplay.
Players will relive the familiar spirit of MapleStory thanks to auto-battle mechanics that allow characters to become stronger even when offline. The game features deep character customization, skill development, and equipment collection. This ensures that each player can develop a unique playstyle at their own pace.
The new companion system allows players to gather allies and develop their own strategies in battle. Growth Dungeons also offer an accessible yet challenging experience, where learning the behavior patterns of the bosses becomes the key to victory. Those looking for more competition can test their mettle in the PvP arena, where intense battles determine the ultimate champion.
Aside from the core gameplay, it also features the series' signature charm with cute and customizable outfits that allow players to express themselves in style. To celebrate the launch, Nexon is hosting several in-game events that reward active participation.
During the 14-day Special Mission event, you will receive items such as Elite Monster Summon Points, Spell Traces, and powerful companions. Additional rewards await you through the Login Event and the 10-Day Attendance Board, offering thousands of Summon Tickets and other valuable resources.
