Lizzo just won a lawsuit against three former backup dancers… the women have retracted their claims that Lizzo shamed them, even as the rest of the case moves forward… TMZ has learned.
Lizzo's lead lawyer Marty Singerand his partner Melissa Y. GlassTell TMZ that fat-shaming allegations were a major part of the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Arianna Davis, Noel RodriguezAnd Crystal Williamsbut they insist that it has always lacked merit.
According to Lizzo's lawyers, the allegations were refuted by 18 witnesses in testimony presented to the court.
They say a Supreme Court judge concluded that Davis was fired because she made “an unauthorized recording of Lizzo at a meeting with dancers and sent it to Williams, who was no longer working on The Special Tour.”
The accusations of shaming are just one of many they have leveled against the artist.
Remember… back in 2023, Arianna, Noelle and Krystal laid claim to Lizzo. exposed them to nude variety shows in Amsterdam and Paris during the tour, which they said they clearly didn't like.
In the documents, the women say Lizzo forced dancers to interact with sex performers at Bananenbaer in Amsterdam, where patrons have been known to eat bananas from the performers' vaginas. Lizzo denies the claims.
While the more serious claims are still being fought in court, Lizzo's team says they remain “confident that she will win her case.”
But the dancers' lawyer, Ronald Zambranotold TMZ: “We maintain that Judge Epstein was correct in its ruling to deny Lizzo's special motion to dismiss the vast majority of the charges they attacked, including false imprisonment and stalking. Of the pair of claims that Judge Epstein rejected, the plaintiffs deliberately decided to leave it as is. One would hope to see the same level of intellectual honesty and neutral assessment from the accused, but so far this has not happened, and that is disappointing.”
