GUELPH, ON, Nov. 15, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Linamar Corporation (TSX:LNR) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of select Aludyne assets in North America. The deal was originally announced on October 9.th for Linamar Corporation to acquire a significant portion of the assets of Aludyne North America for US$300 million.
This acquisition will be an excellent complement to Linamar's existing structural and chassis business, adding advanced capabilities in aluminum casting, precision machining and product design. Aludyne's portfolio includes knuckles, subframes, control arms and axle housings, consistent with Linamar's strategic focus on structural components independent of the powertrain. Upon completion of the transaction, these Aludyne North America facilities will be integrated into the Linamar Structures Group, which is part of the company's broader mobile communications segment.
Linamar has successfully completed similar integrations in the past, and this acquisition follows a proven model. Working closely with our valued customer base, Linamar has developed a long-term sustainable business plan that ensures continuity and growth.
