Liam Gallagher Blasts Fan Who Set off Flares at Oasis Concert

Liam Gallagher criticized a fan who launched flares during Oasis'Melbourne, Australia show at Marvel Stadium on Friday, calling the man a “seriously screwed up individual” in a social media post about the incident.

“For the huge CUNT who fired that flash into the crowd at the Melbourne show last night, you are one seriously screwed up person and you will get yours, trust me,” Gallagher wrote on social media platform X after their performance.

The torches were launched during the finale of Champagne Supernova's performance on the first day of their Australian tour. (They'll perform tonight, November 1st and 4th at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, before heading to Sydney to play Accor Stadium on November 7th and 8th.)

In video footage taken during the sold-out show, the rocket can be seen rising into the air, seemingly launched from within the crowd, before landing on the crowd inside the venue. Shortly after, flames broke out in the area. Another rocket can then be seen taking off and landing in the crowd nearby.

According to one of the concertgoers, they witnessed the explosion of two flares. The participant, identified as Virginia, told the Australian publication. news.com.authat she saw one flash, and shortly after that another flashed.

“Every time you saw that flash, it looked like a fire, but then it was contained pretty quickly,” Virginia, who attended the band’s debut Australian concert with her family, told the publication.

She added: “I was there with my 13-year-old daughter, so as soon as it happened I thought this was bad and thought we'd just leave before the song was over and try to get outside.”
