Letters, Sept. 25, 2025: ‘Rule-changes an insult to CFL fans everywhere’

NFL Lit

With the announcement of the CFL Commissioner Stuart Johnson about the changes to CFL, this former head of the Bell Media was a NFL fan. He plans to reduce the final zone by five yards, move the gate posts back to the end of the final zone and reduce the field by 10 yards to 100 yards in length (sounds familiar?). He also plans to eliminate the router, except in very specific conditions (NFL style). His statement that this will improve the Canadian game is absurd. Call was a proud Canadian establishment long before Stuart Johnson was even a flicker in his father's eyes, so for him to proclaim that it is better for cells, is an insult for fans of cells around the world. What can we expect the following, four pauses and the fair rule of the catch that allows you to return to refuse to return, and a bunch of very large players can stand around, waiting for the ball to stop moving? These are not positive steps to our once popular game, this is a step to become NFL Light. I believe that the only change that the needs of CFL is the new commissioner.

It's time to go

Since more than four decades Alberts constantly received sand in the face with the help of the continuity of past and real liberal governments in Ottawa, most of the Albertans will be happy to take the opportunity to leave the Confederation and form a new nation with the inexpressible potential in the world arena. From the side of Thomas Lukashuk, this is completely desirable for the real, thinking that the Albertans will remain glued on the thigh with Ottawa. Albertans still remember those gloomy years of Pierre Trudeau and his infamous national energy program.

(Right enough, but too much, it seems, believe that the gap will be clear, sailing)

Canadians first of all

The polarization of our society begins with demand for groups with special interests, whether it is missing or LGBT, or something like that. This naturally contributes to the growth of anti -groups that give rise to polarization. If we only concentrated on being Canadians, there would be no problem at first.

I learned the lesson

I know what Alberta teachers want. They want the VDP government!

And drink

(You are not mistaken, but I hope they will agree to a fair deal)
