“If he comes back, I will leave the Eagles,” McCoy said bluntly on the Speakeasy podcast with Emmanuel Acho and Kieran Hickey-Semple.
It's worth noting that McCoy is a member of the Eagles Hall of Fame and his No. 25 has been retired by the franchise.
But McCoy doesn't care if that means Patullo will be back next season.

“Turn me off,” McCoy said when reminded of his retirement number. “Nobody ever asked. I'm going to say, “Mr. [Eagles owner Jeffrey] Lurie, it's either me or Kevin. …If Kevin doesn't get fired, put 25 back on the street. Let one of the newbies get it.”
It's a bold move by “Shady” McCoy, but one that buoys many Eagles fans who have been chasing Patullo with the incumbent all season. Super Bowl The champions are not performing as well on offense as they expected in 2025.

The Eagles' defense gave Hurts and company plenty of opportunities on “Monday Night Football” at Sophie Stadium, but turnovers eventually came back to haunt them, including Tony Jefferson's game-tying interception on the Chargers' goal line for Hurts' fourth pick of the night.
The fight even led to some radical Eagles fans throwing eggs at Patullo's New Jersey home, as seen in a viral video.
During the podcast, McCoy defended Hurts despite playing one of his worst games of his career Monday night, without throwing any shade at head coach Nick Sirianni.
In his eyes it's only Patullo and he wants him gone next season.
“Give the kicker my number if Kevin is still here. Kevin is busy with some nonsense,” McCoy added.
With four games remaining until the playoffs, the Eagles are still in position to lead the NFC East. If the season ended today, they would be in third place in the NFC and would face the San Francisco 49ers at home in South Philadelphia.

But in such a tight playoff race — the 6-6-1 Dallas Cowboys are still in contention for the division title — the Eagles could find themselves in a state of despair if they don't get things figured out offensively and move forward.
However, it's an easier schedule than most for the Eagles in their final four games, as they face the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) at home in Week 15 and then most recently in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders (3-10), Buffalo Bills (9-4) and Commanders.
