The Florida Panthers announced they have offered forward Jona Gadzovich a two-year contract extension.
Ontario man celebrating his 27th birthdaye birthday on Sunday, first signed with the team in October 2023. Then the brawler helped Florida win two Stanley Cups in a row. He excelled in the last playoff series, scoring three points in 16 games.

The 6-foot-4 colossus will earn an average of $905,000 per year.
“Jonah has become an integral part of our locker room and an important player for our group on the ice. He is fearless and brings a relentless level of competition, and we are excited to have him continue with us,” general manager Bill Zito said in a press release.
Gadjovic, who also played for the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks, has an assist in three games this season.
Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is the only player from the two championship-winning Panthers who could become a free agent in Season 1.is in July next year. The 27-year-old veteran enters the final year of a seven-year deal in 2025-26 that will pay him a total of $70 million.
