Ledgerbound pre-alpha demo is also available
OmniMegaSuperCorp unveiled a fresh take on Ledgerbound, the studio's tactical RPG comedy, during the Women Led Games Showcase: The Game Awards Edition. The new trailer teases the arrival of Melissa Medina, John Patneud and Craig Lee Thomas, who will join the growing cast for the indie debut. Players can also return to the pre-alpha version, which is available again for a limited period starting today.
“Our new trailer shows just how absurd the bureaucratic world and characters of Ledgerbound are, but everything stays on point thanks to the genuine aspirations and distinct voices of our actors.” said Carly Angelis, lead writer for OmniMegaSuperCorp. “We're always striving for emotional honesty so that the jokes hit the mark but also feel authentic to the person saying the line. It was amazing to see the writing and humor resonate so strongly with our players, and we can't wait for more people to see this story.”
Until December 18th, fans and newcomers can access an updated version of the pre-alpha at the Women Led Games event on Steam. The original demo appeared in October during the Steam Next Fest, made a strong impression and surpassed the twenty thousand mark on the wishlist. The latest build reflects player feedback gathered over the past few weeks and offers improvements based on its earlier reception.
Ledgerbound combines comedy with tactical role-playing and is a narrative about employees trying to keep their corporate world together. The adventure combines fantasy combat with office life, sending players into battle against dangerous opponents. And all this while distributing documentation, resolving budget issues and carefully managing relationships in the workplace. The goal is to save an organization on the brink while maintaining a sense of balance between heroism and daily responsibilities.
