What happens in Vegas…gets LaKeith Stanfield– a film starring if you Dennis Rodman.
Almost two years later Jonathan Majors was fell out of role And Lionsgate dropped out of the project, the studio is back in business, and Stanfield is set to play the former Chicago Bulls forward in Rick Famuyiwa-helmet film that Jordan VanDina co-written with the director.
Inspired by the untold story of Rodman's legendary trip to Las Vegas during the 1998 NBA Finals. 48 hours in Vegas takes viewers through two wild days in Sin City and Rodman's wild (possibly true) adventures.
“I am truly excited to help create a moving, joyful work that both honors and thoughtfully explores the legacy of Rodman and his fellow pioneers,” Stanfield said in a statement. “Those who moved to the beat of their own drum, oblivious to the obstacles facing them then and now.”
