The Grammy winner abruptly stopped her Saturday night concert in Australia after one of her dancers fell off the stage while they were sliding on their feet down the runway. The whole thing was recorded on video: everyone strutted across the stage while Gaga sang “Garden of Eden.” You can see the dancer by name Michael Damascusslide right off the end of the stage, which has become slippery due to heavy rain.
Gaga immediately stopped filming to tend to Michael and then confirmed to applause that he was fine. Those at the scene said on social media that she delayed the concert long enough for crew members to find him shoes with better grip.
The concert was part of the “Poker Face” hitmaker's “Mayhem Ball” tour and took place at Accor Stadium in Sydney. This marked the last concert of the tour in 2025.
Everything turned out well for Michael, who posted his IG story after the show to thank fans for their concern.
Michael is expected to return to the stage with Gaga and her concert crew at the end of January when they bring the Mayhem Ball to Tokyo.
