Stranger Things not finished dominating you yet Netflix life this holiday season, and K-Pop Demon Hunters won't go anywhere either. Along with the medium, these popular hits are being transformed into new digital streams of Christmas magazines, allowing fans to light up their screens. These three expansions, releasing today, December 1, will join a lineup that already includes virtual fireplace scenes for Bridgerton, The Squid Game, and The Witcher.
You can turn your TV or phone screen into a crackling fire with Netflix's hour-long displays, which feature animated visuals, background music, and sound effects that are entirely consistent with each title. Open the Stranger Things door and you'll find yourself in the Byers' living room, with Christmas lights hanging above the mantelpiece.
KPop's “Demon Hunters” is dark yet shining, and Wednesday's fireside scene has a mystical atmosphere.
A look at the KPop Demon Hunters screen reveals that this is no ordinary fireplace, but an otherworldly descent into the pink and blue flames of Gwi-Ma's nest. Fans will also be able to hear new instrumentals from KPop Demon Hunters songs. A cozy Wednesday at Nevermore Academy takes us to Principal Weems' office with a special cameo from “The Thing.”
Netflix says to watch out for a few surprises, such as secret Easter eggs scattered among the fireplace scenes. And to add to your cheerful spirit, the streamer is also unveiling its new holiday collection today, which features a jam-packed carousel of themed episodes.
