And the family was surprised not only from the king, but also from people like Oasis, Robbie Williams, Kernel Stewart, Coldplay, Lady Gaga and even the Royal Guard, who performed a version of “Paranoia” that Sharon called “amazing.”
As she told the children Kelly Osbourne And Jack Osborne on the podcast: “Your dad would love to see the different versions people performed as tributes to his music.”
The siblings also took time to reflect on their feelings following their father's passing, and Kelly became emotional as she recalled her time with Ozzy.
“I’m so grateful for every moment I had with him,” the 41-year-old shared through tears, “and I’m so grateful that he was my father.”
Kelly – son's mother Sydney2 years, with fiance Sid Wilson— she added that she was even grateful for “the madness and all the chaos” and “everything that comes with it.”
Jack also took the time to explain his experience of grief, saying he found it both “horrible and beautiful.”
“It forces you to kind of unpack and examine things,” the 40-year-old said. “Yes, it sucks that he’s gone, but it’s also led to a lot of gratitude, love, and really precious moments that you took for granted at the time.”
