Skims posted a promotional video for a retro game called “Does Carpet Match Curtains?”

The accompanying caption reads: “Just Dropped: The Ultimate Bush. With our bold new faux hair knickers, your rug can be any color you want.”

NOT THE FIRST CONTROVERSIAL POINT

Skims has never shied away from controversial underwear.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2023, the lingerie, shapewear and loungewear brand released a nipple bra.

Its success led to the creation of the “ultimate” version of the stunning bra. complete with artificial piercingwhich came out in May.

This time it's a fluffy thong, which probably doesn't make sense because shouldn't hair be inside a micro thong? — social media users rubbed their eyes and did a double take.

Others praised the brand for its brilliant marketing plan.
