Grammer is also dad to his 42-year-old daughter Spencer, whom he shares with ex-wife Doreen Alderman, and 33-year-old daughter Greer with ex Barry Buckner.
He previously spoke about how his work as an actor has helped him become a great father.
“My kids—my little kids, my older kids—I'm happiest when they're all in the same room together,” Grammer told Variety in June 2024. “My job allowed me to do this. I was given this wonderful experience. It was painful, difficult, difficult and tragic – all of it. But damn, it's a wonderful life. And I want to pass that on to them.”

In the same interview, Grammer hinted that some of his children might want to follow in his footsteps in the entertainment industry.
“Kaite and I talked about how it's really about the child following in his father's footsteps,” he said. “To think that all my children, at least those who had a hand in this, are ready to take responsibility for their lives, are all drawn to this industry. [Kayte] said: “This is something to be proud of.”
Last May, Grammer told people that he is “playing catch-up” with his older children.
“I’ve neglected a couple of kids in my life, especially the first two,” Grammer told the publication. “Now I'm trying to make up for it a little. I'm still their father, so you can always [a] chance to appear.”
He also said that he is trying to make sure his own children learn from his past mistakes when they have children of their own.
“I probably should have been a little more clear and maybe less tolerant of my elders,” he said. “I'm quite tolerant of the young ones, but I'm clear that there are certain expectations and certain ways of navigating a social situation: keep things private and act honestly and you'll be well off in your life. I'm a little more specific with them about studying and preparing. [I tell them]“What is your job in life?” I'm showing up.”
Grammer isn't the only retired Hollywood actor to recently announce he's becoming a father.
