Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are officially divorced.
Their separation ended quickly and smoothly. Indeed, court documents filed on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, and obtained by Page Six, show that the former couple were not fighting.
Nicole Kidman is in charge of childcare. Under their agreement, their two teenage daughters will stay with the Babygirl actress 306 days a year, and Keith Urban will spend “every other weekend” with them.
Financial issues were resolved amicably: the spouses agreed that neither of them would pay alimony, citing monthly incomes exceeding $100 thousand each. They also agreed that all assets, including investments, bank accounts, furniture, appliances, vehicles and personal belongings, would be divided by mutual agreement, with each retaining what was currently in their possession. In addition, each is responsible for their own legal costs. The existence of a prenuptial agreement remains unclear.
Although the hearing was scheduled for January 6, Nicole Kidman waived her right to appear in court because she had just returned from Australia, where she had spent the holidays with her daughters the day before.
Star Big little lies and Keith Urban announced their separation last September after 19 years of marriage. It is reported that the couple has been living separately since the beginning of summer 2025. Nicole Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
