Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Hold Hands Stepping out in Paris

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were spotted holding hands in Paris on the singer's birthday.

Perry and Trudeau's evening was partially captured video shared on social networks and photos published by Backgrid. The short videos show the singer and the former Canadian prime minister leaving the building holding hands on October 25, Perry's 41st birthday.

For the occasion, Perry wore a long red dress, wearing her hair in a slicked back bun to highlight her statement earrings, while Trudeau wore a simple black suit.

Later in the video, Trudeau helped Perry into the back seat of the car while photographers at the scene wished the singer, who is in the middle of her “Lifetimes Tour” of Europe, a happy birthday.

TODAY.com has reached out to reps for Perry and Trudeau for comment.

However, Perry was previously in a relationship with Orlando Bloom for almost ten years. the couple announced their separation back in July.

The couple started dating in 2016, but broke up a year later. They rekindled their romance in 2018 and got engaged in 2019 on Valentine's Day. They will come later desired daughter Daisy in August 2020.

When their split became public, Bloom and Perry's reps shared a joint statement about their split, noting that the couple “has been pivoting their relationship over the past few months to focus on co-parenting their children.”

Trudeau, who served as Canada's prime minister from 2015 to January 2025, was previously married to Sophie Gregoire for 18 years before he announced their separation in August 2023. The former couple has three children: sons Xavier and Hadrien and daughter Ella-Grace.

Weeks after Perry and Bloom's split broke, Trudeau was spotted at one of Perry's concerts in Montreal in the summer, singing along in the crowd. According to rumors, the couple was also seen together in early August.

Although Perry hasn't said much publicly about the split, Bloom addressed the couple's split during a September appearance on TODAY.

“I'm great, man. I'm so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter,” Bloom told TODAY's Craig Melvin. “You know, when you leave it all on the field, like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for it all. And we're great. We're going to be great. It's nothing but love.”
