The Canadian recalled from the Laval Rocket on Tuesday morning. As such, the Quebecer will join the team for morning practice and take part in a four-game road trip played in the west.

Roy started the season strong in Laval with three goals and four points in four contests.

“I wanted to be physical and bring rhythm to my game,” Roy said after his review. In the first four games I noticed a difference and I think it showed in my performance.

Now he'll want to continue to build momentum with the Habs during a grueling four-game road trip to western Canada and the United States.

“I tell myself that if I work hard and do the right things, everything else will fall into place. That's what happened the first two weekends in Laval,” he added.

The team also recalled defenseman Mark Del Gaiso from the trip. The 25-year veteran will provide insurance in the event of injury while the team is away from home.

At the same time, CH brought striker Owen Beck back to the school club after a two-game audition. The 21-year-old did not score a goal during his time in the team.
