Jordon Hudson was spotted on the sideline during the North Carolina Tar Heels' 20-15 win over the Stanford Cardinal with a message around her neck.

Controversy surrounded Hudson and the head coach. Bill Belichick ever since the two arrived in the program. The attention grew after a disastrous interview with CBS to promote the legendary coach's book. In May, a report surfaced that Hudson was allegedly banned from participating in the program.

However, North Carolina athletic director Bubba Cunningham denied that Hudson was banned from the stadium and facilities. This became more apparent when Hudson greeted her boyfriend during First Tar Heels game season in Chapel Hill.

Hudson appears to have the upper hand over his detractors now that North Carolina's season hasn't gotten out of control. Instead, North Carolina moved to 4–5 on the season with a win over Stanford.

The Tar Heels also had great success. win over Syracuse Orange and were near wins over the California Golden Bears and Virginia Cavaliers.

North Carolina quarterback Gio Lopez was 18 of 25 with 203 passing yards and two touchdown passes. He had a 55-yard pass to Jordan Shipp, who led the Tar Heels with five catches for 83 yards.

“Good win,” Belichick said. “I'm glad to win at home. It's always nice to win at home. I'm proud of our team.”
