The Canadiens were Really became interested in the Blues player and pushed him to conclude a deal. Kent Hughes tried aggressively to help the team, but it didn't work out in the end.
It would be great to have a player like Kiro in the top 6 team right now…
Let's not forget that the Canadiens are still looking for a player who can help on the ice. The injury situation certainly isn't helping (especially with the Habs missing two key players in Duch and Newhook) and the club could use some help at certain levels.
But hey. Let's see what happens next… because we know it Kent Hughes is open to all possibilities.
