It's strange to think that ten years after his debut, Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle will finally appear on the big screen. Let's fight Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While details about the next MCU chapter of the wall-crawler are still being kept under wraps, we do know one thing: vigilante bruiser Bernthal will have his own story. will arrive on Disney+ as a special presentation shortly thereafter..
Naturally, a Punisher standalone story is expected to be a bloody outing, quite different from the relatively family-friendly environment he'll share with Spider-Man. Well, at least that's what I thought. Luckily, Bernthal assured fans that Frank's level of rage would be the same in both appearances. This is a detail that not only he, but also Tom Holland and the film's director Destin Daniel Cretton tried to adhere to.
Taking this into account, as well as Cretton's skillful handling of the action sequences in Shang-Chi: Legend of the Ten Ringswe can expect some powerful fights between Frank and Spidey. We just hope Frank doesn't end up in a worse state than we've seen him in before. To find out about all the upcoming MCU movies and shows, check out our guide here.
