In a new interview with the magazine Sunday TimesJeremy talked about the game Bruce Springsteen in a biographical film Springsteen: Deliver Me Out of Nowhere. “Making a film about Bruce was incredibly difficult. I was isolated. I was away from my children. I didn’t go home much,” he said. “I felt bad and when I came out of it I thought, 'There has to be a better way.'
When asked what the public thought of him, he continued: “I guess it depends on how people gather information… There have been periods in the last few years when there has been more scrutiny in my personal life, or something has happened in my personal life that has been of interest, and none of that is welcome. You want as much anonymity as possible.”
However, Jeremy said he still feels “lucky” and accepts “compromise” as part of being an actor. “And after a while,” he said, “people will stop following you once they realize that all you do is pick up your kids from school and come home. My life—my ordinary life—is very simple.”
“Like today. I made breakfast for my daughters, took them to school, and later I'll pick them up and make dinner,” he added. “I have seven dinners that I cook well, and three of them my kids love… You cook, then they take a bite and just ask for chicken nuggets.”
