Former two-time Danger! The North Carolina winner was arrested on two surreptitious voyeurism charges.
Philip Joseph “Joey” DeSena, 42, is accused of installing cameras in the victim's bedroom and bathroom, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Currituck County Sheriff's Office and viewed by people.
The warrant stated that the alleged crime occurred on October 10, but the warrant was not issued until November 26.
According to the warrant, authorities said DeSena “unlawfully, willfully and criminally,” secretly or surreptitiously installed “a device that could be used to create [a] a photographic image, namely a camera” placed in two rooms “with the intent to capture the image of another person without his consent.”
DeSena was taken into custody on December 1. He was released from jail Dec. 3 on $5,000 bail, according to the release. CBS affiliate WBTVlocated in Charlotte, North Carolina
He was ordered to have no contact with the victim in his case. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Dec. 10.

DeSena won Danger! twice in November 2024, winning a total of $44,698.
DeSena is not the first Danger! The champion will face legal problems.
Winston Nguyen, a former math teacher at a prestigious private school in Brooklyn and Danger! Champion, was sentenced in March to seven years in prison on charges he made on Snapchat as a teenager of extorting nude images and sex videos from children.
Earlier in March, Nguyen pleaded guilty to one count of using a child for sexual performance as a sexually motivated felony and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Upon release, he will be required to register as a sex offender.
Nguyen appeared on two Danger! 2014 episodes.
