After several days of waiting, Jelly Roll officially unveiled his new look.
Jelly Roll's wife Bunny Ho, 45, teased fans on November 13 after revealing that Save me The 40-year-old singer decided he was ready get rid of facial hair for the first time in about a decade, but never shared the final results.
The country star took to Instagram on Thursday to debut the new look, joking that he thinks he now looks like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
“You probably already guessed that I look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle,” he said in his video. “Crazy. One of the reasons I even started growing a beard is because I was so fat that it was just easier for me to hide what was going on here.”
Jelly Roll continued to discuss his recent Grammy nominationsincluding Best Contemporary Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group.
“When I was in Australia, I woke up and we were nominated for three Grammys, y'all. When I got to my first Grammy this year, I had a new artist. I thought to myself, 'This will be the only time I'm going to be at the Grammys.' And to come back three years later with more nominations than ever is just – gratitude first, man,” said Wild said the singer.
“I don’t care what artists say, I don’t care how artists behave, I will tell you the real truth,” he added. “There’s not an artist in the world who didn’t grow up watching the Grammys when they were kids and then go around their bedrooms and practice their speech.”
“Anyway, thank you everyone for watching this vlog. Now you're making fun of me and leaving comments about my double chin and how I thought my chin was at least half an inch further out than it actually was. Science experiment gone wrong, y'all,” Jelly Roll said.
Not everyone was a fan of Jelly Roll's new look, including his daughter Bailey Ann, who shared her shocked reaction in The singer's YouTube blog.

“I'm going to cry, I don't like it. You look like a turtle. I don't like it,” she said, laughing and wiping her tears. “I don't know if I'm laughing or if it's really sad.”
Jelly Roll has lost more than 200 pounds in the past three years. Since starting his fitness journey in December 2022, the musician has been sharing his progress and milestones with his fans on social media.
In Bunny's previous video, she said her husband was going to “shave his beard completely” because “now that he's also skinny, look at that damn jawline.”
“We want to see that jawline, right ladies?” – Bunny added.
“Look, we know we're going to have to cut some skin off here,” Jelly Roll said, pointing to his chest. “We are trying to understand whether a facelift might be appropriate.”
