Jeffery Simmons home burglarized during Titans-49ers game on Sunday

Tennessee Titans Star quarterback Jeffrey Simmons attacked those who robbed his home while he played against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

There were “at least six suspects” who burglarized Simmons' Nashville home, which happened shortly after 7 p.m., the Metro Nashville Police Department said. told ESPN.

This was the exact time the Titans faced the 49ers in the Bay Area.

“What if one of my family members was in my house??” Simmons posted on social media, showing security camera footage of burglars trying to break into his home. “You can have all this materialistic nonsense, but it’s crazy!”

Simmons also called the robbers “fucking cowards,” although he praised Metro Nashville police.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Titans security team for their professionalism and quick response,” Simmons said in a statement. “Their dedication to keeping our entire Nashville community safe does not go unnoticed. I remain grateful for God's protection and grace.”

The suspects reportedly entered Simmons' home “after breaking a glass window” and “several items were stolen.”

It is unclear what exactly was stolen from Simmons' home.

Meanwhile, Simmons was able to find the end zone despite the loss to the 49ers, so his good personal performance came to a screeching halt once he learned the news.

But, unfortunately, Simmons is not the only one NFL star who was robbed during the game.

Kansas City Chiefs last season it happened to stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, as well as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. All of these burglaries were linked to a South American group of thieves specifically targeting NFL and NBA players.

Cleveland Browns rookie Sheader Sanders also saw $200,000 worth of property stolen from his home when they played the Baltimore Ravens earlier this season.

Titans security said it is “actively working” with local police to recover the stolen items.
