Jays will likely wear white-panel caps in Game 3

Do not be surprised if Toronto Blue Jace will retro when they enter the field at the Yankee stadium.

Blue Jays wore a white cap, a reverse look based on the hats wore the 1992 World Series champions in critical games this season. Toronto could complete the Sweep New York on Tuesday in the game of 3 best of the five series of the American League.

“I did not pack another hat,” said Blue Jays manager John Schneider with a smile on Monday, when he was asked if he thought that caps are good luck.

The balls were standard for Toronto when he defeated Atlanta Braves in six games to win his first World Series Championship in 1992. In the next season, they were replaced by completely blue hats when Blue Jays successfully defended his title.

Since then, Toronto has experienced several uniform changes, including mainly a black species, highlighted in blue and silver in the 2000s, before returning to a more classical style of 1993 in 2012.

Although in 2015 a cap with a white panel with a modernized logo was presented, it was not used this season until September 25.

Closer Jeff Hoffman suggested that the caps of the White Panel return as a kind of good charm, since Toronto had to finish the regular season with four victories to win the title of the American League East.

Hoffman retained this idea in the back of the head as an option throughout the year. When he heard the two club ministers discussed which T -shirts to lay out at the end of the regular season, he asked them whether the retro is a retro -up.

“I heard that we have those with our real logo, is this true?” And they said: “Yes, we got them upstairs,” Hoffman recalls last week. “I said:“ Let's get them out, it's no better. ” I think everyone was on board without even saying it.

“It was like who was going to offer an offer to wear them, and everyone was on board.”

Toronto continued to defeat Boston Red Sox 6-1 on that night, and then swept the rays of Tampa Bay in the last three games of the regular season.

Blue Jays put on caps in his victory with a score of 10: 1 over New York on Saturday in the game 1 “Alds” and again on Sunday 13-7 beats of the Yankee.

“This hat was in my cabinet, so this is the hat that I am going to wear,” said the veteran -out -outser George Springer before game 1. “I do not make this decision.

“I know that we broke these hats a few games ago, I believe, and here they are again.”

Kuvshin Toronto Kevin Gausman said that he was not legible about what form he would wear. But Gausman also said that he would not wear anything except the White Panel.

“I don’t choose T -shirts,” said Gausman on Saturday after he earned a victory in the game 1. “I just show up, and this is what is.
