SEATTLE – Toronto Blue Jays fans are flying in planes, boats and cars to give their team much-needed support as they take on the victorious Mariners in the American League Championship Series.
Toronto is down two games heading into T-Mobile Park, where it will face the Seattle Mariners in Game 3 of the best-of-seven series.
Regular season games in Seattle often make the Jays feel like home, with fans from Western Canada traveling across the border.

In a statement, Visit Seattle said October is a “period of need” for the city's hotels, restaurants and shops as summer winds down, meaning the baseball playoffs could provide a welcome boost.
But the playoffs come at a time when visits from Canadians are not guaranteed, and the organization says it expects a 26 percent year-over-year decline in international visitors in 2025, the largest of major U.S. cities, due to Seattle's dependence on Canada.
The Mariners, who had never won the ALCS, defeated Toronto in the 2022 wild card series, which was the only time the two 1977 expansion teams met in the post-season.
