“Guys, I love Canada,” Kelsey wrote in a post on social media site X on Friday night. “I was deceived by our social team who failed to show the whole story.”
He added: “How could I not love poutine, maple syrup and beavers! I actually rooted for the Blue Jays in the World Series, which I didn't care about. Seriously, Canada is the best, I was just saying that I don't have to personally care that the team that spent the most money and built a super team wins the World Series. That's it. I'm a famous Canadian defenseman and a hockey fan.”
