They chatted about the Los Angeles Dodgers' 5-4 Game 7 victory over the Blue Jays, and while Travis was quick to praise the series as “seven amazing games of baseball,” Jason's comments were less enthusiastic.
“Are you telling me I should worry about the Canadian baseball team?” asked the 38-year-old man.

He went on to say that the large expenses of Major League Baseball teams ultimately take away from the sport.
“Is it nice that the team that spent the most money and everyone knew was going to win the World Series won the World Series?” – Jason said. “Everyone knew this was going to happen before the season started. “Guys, I love Canada,” Kelsey wrote in a post on social media site X on Friday night. “I was deceived by our social team who failed to show the whole story.”
He added: “How could I not love poutine, maple syrup and beavers! I actually rooted for the Blue Jays in the World Series, which I didn't care about. Seriously, Canada is the best, I was just saying that I don't have to personally care that the team that spent the most money and built a super team wins the World Series. That's it. I'm a famous Canadian defenseman and a hockey fan.”
