If there's one thing you're not doing, it's trouble with one of the Mormon wives and her dance partner. Hell hath no fury like a dancing duo scorned. Former Dancing with the Stars Pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy criticized new pro Ian Ravnica for his technique and ability to coach his star Jennifer Affleck. “I’m very sorry, Ian has absolutely no right to be a professional in Dancing with the Stars. There is no foundation, no technique, no quality, no understanding of partnership,” Chmerkovskiy said on the freest public forum – his wife’s podcast. Penthouse with Peta October 24. “Bro, I'm getting fired up. This is absurd. And it's unreal how blind you have to be, and, God forbid, say something that is clearly there. He had no idea that [the] what a foxtrot should look like. How are you going to expect him to teach this and deliver this message in a format that is completely different from even ballroom dancing?” These heated comments came after his wife showed Ravnica some “favor” by saying this was his first season; Chmerkovskiy categorically disagreed.
Back home, Affleck took to TikTok to support and defend her partner and former Eras Tour stair enthusiast. “Me when someone talks trash about Jan,” Affleck captioned a video of her pretending to angrily type something on her phone. The Ravnik stood by her side, feigning that anger “doesn't reflect me or what we need to do.” DVTS Pro Ezra Sosa, who partners with Jordan Chiles, commented on his support: “I'll ride the sun for this man.” If Chmerkovskiy and Ravnik really want to get to the bottom of this, there's only one solution: dance.
