James Bond game 007 First Light delayed to May 2026

The upcoming James Bond game 007 First Light has been pushed back to May 27, 2026.

The long-awaited game was supposed to release on March 27, but will now release in two months.

This will be the first video game to feature the British spy since 2012's Legends 007.

IN statement Developer IO Interactive, who also creates the Hitman series, said the game is “fully playable from start to finish” but needed additional time to “further refine it.”

In its latest announcement, IO Interactive called the game its “most ambitious project to date.”

“We are confident that this will ensure the long-term success of 007 First Light, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and continued support we have received since introducing the game,” the post reads.
