TORONTO – Toronto center Jakob Poeltl will miss the Raptors' game against the visiting Houston Rockets today due to lower back tightness.
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic made the announcement before the game and said Poeltl was being reviewed on a daily basis.

The 7-foot-7 Poeltl is averaging 6.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in four games this season.
He played nearly 24 minutes in Toronto's 121-103 loss in San Antonio on Monday, recording two points, two rebounds and a blocked shot.

Poeltl, 30, signed a four-year contract extension worth US$104 million in July after posting career-highs of 14.5 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.
He also averaged 2.8 assists per game last season.
