White stripes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last weekendAnd Jack White is celebrating the occasion by collecting the band's catalog into a box set, and has also released a new guitar pedal.
Complete studio albums from Third Person Reports This is the first time the White Stripes catalog has been combined into one package. This requires all six of their studio albums – White stripes (1999), Style (2000), White blood cells (2001), Elephant (2003), Get away from me Satan (2005), nasty knock (2007) – and presses them onto so-called “red and white” colored 180-gram vinyl. There are nine discs in total, as well as never-before-seen photos of the band.
The set will go on sale on Black Friday (November 28th) at Third Man stores. It will be available to order online the same day, although mail orders won't be delivered until 2026.
In other Third Man news, the company has teamed up with JHS pedals for three delays. This is a delay pedal that is marketed as a studio instrument rather than a typical stage guitar pedal. It includes both XLR and quarter-inch inputs and outputs and is designed to work with both microphones and instruments. The prototype version was widely used on No nameand White keeps it on his microphone stand during performances to use for his voice.
The yellow edition is available in a limited edition of 300 copies exclusively at reverb.comand the black edition is available directly from Third Man.
