With the Olympics just around the corner, speculation continues as to who will compete for the various countries.
Members of The Athletic Hockey Show podcast attended the event and we can see their lineup here:

Interestingly, all four panelists included Nick Suzuki in their lineup.
It's no surprise that the Habs captain is off to a great start this season, posting 31 points, including eight goals, in 26 games and a plus-11 rating.
However, the choice of Suzuki is no longer a matter of debate, but is increasingly becoming the subject of expert conversations.
And the way the center forward has been playing lately gives a strong case for an invitation to Team Canada.
There are also a few notable absences among the Habs players.
Unsurprisingly, Samuel Montembeault's name is not on the Canadiens' projected roster, and I would be very surprised if he were called up to the Olympics.
The Quebec goalkeeper could probably play the third-choice goalkeeper role in the team, but his performances since the start of the season will likely cost him his place at Milan in favor of a better goalkeeper.
Slightly more surprising is the absence of Noah Dobson.
Despite some struggles in the last few games for the Habs, the defenseman has been playing good hockey this season with 16 points in 26 games.
Moreover, the Canadiens' thinking team seems to like combinations of players who are used to playing together and who already have a rapport. Dobson complements Mike Matheson's highly effective duo since the start of the season.
These two defensemen could make a good third defenseman pairing for Canada.
On the other hand, Canada has plenty of depth at defense and some good options on the blue line.

Mikko Rantanen went down after exchanging blows with Jeff Skinner, and he was NOT happy with the compensatory minor penalties.
