Of the 2025 TVs I tested, LG's OLED The television range was one of the strongest. The LG C5 continues the trend set by its predecessors as one of the most complete TVs in terms of features, picture quality and overall performance at the best price.
There is also the flagship LG G5, which, despite strong competition from rivals in Samsung S95F, Sony Bravia 8 II and Panasonic The Z95B performed very strongly in two teardowns. He first appeared in Four-Way OLED Blind Match Conducted with Random Spectators and showed himself well a four-way OLED challenge in which I used my testing criteria.
Both LG C5 and LG G5 are among best tvs 2025, especially in the OLED category. And with Black Friday approaching, they're both ready for some great deals. In fact, we have already seen LG C5 reached record low prices during Prime Day and even at the beginning of some Black Friday Deals.
But these are not the TVs from LG's OLED lineup that I would recommend you consider during Black Friday. I would look at the most budget option in the line: LG B5, one of best OLED TVs 2025.
OLED features and performance for less money

You might think you're missing out on a lot by opting for a more budget-friendly OLED, but this is where the B5 really shines. It has an impressive range of features and delivers picture quality that won't disappoint.
While testing the LG B5, I was impressed by the picture quality. It provided bright, rich colors in animated films such as Elemental and in real films such as Wicked. Whatever colors it displayed looked authentic and vibrant despite the average brightness level. In all of these films, he also exhibited excellent color depth, making the colors pop on screen.
Of course, I expected strong contrast and rich blacks from an OLED like the B5, but again, for an OLED of this caliber it was effective. Batman can be a real challenge for many TVs due to its low brightness, but the B5 managed to display it with real accuracy, striking a good balance between light and dark tones in the opening investigation scene, as well as showing exquisite detail in the shadows.

The LG B5 also excels as a gaming monitor and is undoubtedly one of the best gaming tvs I tested in this price range this year. It comes with a full range of features including 4K 120 Hz, VRR (with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia Both G-Sync) games HGiG, ALLM and Dolby Vision are supported. LG's Game Optimizer is a useful tool that lets you adjust game settings, including a boost feature that reduces input lag to an ultra-low 9.1ms.
But how do all these features impact actual gaming performance? Incredibly good. Playing Battlefield VThe B5 handled chaotic firefights and fast movement adeptly thanks to its low input lag. The B5's OLED picture quality was also ideal for completing gameplay, delivering crisp, refined images with plenty of detail.
While picture quality and gaming capabilities are the B5's real strengths, it also features LG's webOS smart TV platform, which in my opinion is the best on the market. While its AI features aren't to my tastes, they will be a useful tool for some users. Plus, its quick menus, layout, and overall responsiveness are second to none.
Best offer?

The B5 excels not only in performance, but also in price. While the B5's big brother, the LG C5, will be the one to make headlines during Black Friday, the B5 will almost certainly get some discounts, making it an even better deal.
At the time of writing, several months after the launch of LG's OLED TV range, the LG B5 costs $999 / £999 / AU$2,495, while the 55-inch LG C5 averages $1,199 / £1,199 / AU$3,295. That means you've already saved hundreds on B5, and Black Friday is sure to bring you some cheaper deals.
I even tested the LG B5 and LG C5 side by side. and while the C5 did come out on top, the B5 is a great TV in its own right and I think it could drop to a very low price during Black Friday. I'm also expecting very low prices for the smaller 48-inch B5, which is ideal for gaming.
I'm not saying you should avoid the C5 if a good deal comes along, as it's one of the best TVs of 2025. But if you want an OLED TV but want to save money, then the B5 is my choice.

The best TVs for every budget.
