This Bose is the boss

Stop the presses because the best Bose cans have dropped in price – but only for a limited time!

The QC Ultra (2nd generation) headphones recently went on sale in Australia and I can't remember seeing them discounted at the time. Well, now Good Guys has put an end to that.

Initially reduced to AU$597 (from AU$699), you can save AU$10 by clicking the 'Best Price' button and then save another AU$60 by entering code FRENZY25 when placing an order. Final price? AUD 527.

I admit it's still a significant amount, but Bose's second-generation flagship cans are simply excellent. Our Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Generation) saw them get a full five stars, with our reviewer declaring: “The king of active noise cancellation is back with a product that is only a marginal improvement on the model it replaces, which, frankly, is all it really needs.”

The previous model gave way to the Sony WH-1000XM6. That The ANC headphones are excellent and Bose is clearly not happy with it. This new model reasserts itself as a true noise-canceling master, backed by vibrant, engaging sound and an Immersive Audio mode that gives any song a spatial sound treatment.

Shark Detect Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

My colleague Sharm has reviewed quite a few vacuum cleaners during her time at TechRadar and regularly rates the Shark Cordless Detect Pro with automatic emptying as one of the best. best vacuum cleaners in australia and it also features in her guide to best cordless vacuum cleaners too much.

It's not the most powerful vacuum cleaner, but it does a great job of balancing price and features even without the discounts. The great thing about this vacuum cleaner, besides its good price, is its ability to clean the edges of rooms where dust tends to accumulate. The light from the cleaning head is overkill, and it doesn't quite illuminate dust particles like Dyson's Fluffy Optic does, but it can be handy for peering into dark corners or under furniture.

Shark's favorite part of the Cordless Detect Pro in Sharm is the auto-emptying docking station. It's not as powerful as Samsung's Clean Station, but she likes the fact that it doesn't require replacement dust bags, so there are no ongoing costs. You can clean and wash the box, let it dry and put it back on.

I have to admit, the price has come down a bit, but that 40% saving is still worth a look.

Dyson is confusing us

The Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer lies on its side, rear view. The hand is depicted in black and white with the inscription

Essentially matching the 2024 Black Friday price, the Supersonic Nural has dropped again to a more affordable AU$499.

Admittedly, that's still a significant difference for a hair dryer, but the Nural is the smartest hair dryer out there, designed to protect your hair and scalp during the drying process, preventing long-term damage from excessive heat.

Although Amazon is not officially involved with Click Frenzy, it has the lowest price right now and no fewer than three colors!

These include ceramic patina/topaz, ceramic rose/pink and plum jasper.

Alternatively, you can purchase an equally attractive red velvet/gold color from the manufacturer themselves for the same price.
