CBS News Crash: 60 Minutes Drops Plot on Illegal Alien Deportation at the Last Second

Bari Weiss said in a statement that more context was needed, meaning “history has been hopelessly biased and left-wing, and we are trying to become something more credible under my leadership.”

Epstein Democrats' Latest Attempt Over Trump Photo Fails Again – There Are Several Big Problems

This is clearly Epstein's “Famous People I've Met” stack. We could play this game with the Democrats too and ask why Joe Biden's Justice Department looked at these photos and didn't release them, and why aren't they talking about all the Clinton photos?

Sled. It's Not: Dem Mayor's Attempt to Destroy Christmas Fails as SC Town Keeps Baby Jesus Sleeping

Pickett's stance on the Grinchie is not only an attempt to defy basic decency, but also an attempt to challenge Supreme Court precedent allowing the nativity scene to be shown in mixed holiday performances. She doesn't have a leg to stand here.

Canadian gun owners reject 'you can still hunt' argument

However, it doesn't matter if people can still hunt because that's not what guns are designed for.

Why Nicki Minaj's TPUSA AmericaFest Appearance Matters

Does a rap star's appearance at a conservative event signal a cultural shift? Of course not. But will it matter what Minaj says about her faith in God?

I suspect the answer is “Yes”.

The Imam of Gaza reveals the key to understanding the entire Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The longer Western “experts” ignore the fact that the Palestinian Authority regularly repeats that this is a religious war, the longer they will continue to recommend solutions, such as the vaunted two-state solution, that are no solutions at all. If you are misdiagnosed, the medicine prescribed to you will not cure you. And this is the situation today regarding Israel and the Palestinians.

A tweet that perfectly encapsulates the reaction to CBS News' Bari Weiss, who reportedly broke the story

Whether it airs or not, it's nice to see someone putting the brakes on stories aimed at attacking the Trump administration and enforcing federal immigration laws.

Virginia is for lovers… illegal alien criminals: man dead after sheriff, DA defy ICE detainer

How many more people must be injured or killed because of progressive policies?

When will enough be enough?

WHAT'S ABOUT QUALITY?

Today on Capitol Hill…

Well, it will be quiet on the Hill on Monday – and all week – as the creatures have left the Swamp for the holidays. Of course, that doesn't mean we won't hear about them along the way.

White House, what happened?

President Trump is staying in Palm Beach, Florida for the holidays, but he's staying busy. He will receive an intelligence briefing at 3:30 pm ET. Then, at 4:30 p.m., he is set to make an announcement along with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of the Navy John Phelan.

Full court press…

We had some notable court decisions over the weekend:

  • ↔️ American Federation of Government Employees, AFL-CIO vs. OPM (DOGE personal financial disclosure) – Judge Denise Cote (Southern District of New York) DENIES Administrator's Motion to Deny and DENIES Plaintiffs' Motion to Disclose Additional Records.
  • ❌ State of Washington v. Department of Education (denial of federal grants) – Judge Kimberly Evanson (Western District of Washington) GRANTS plaintiffs' partial motion for summary judgment; DENIES the admin.

I expect a few more to show up this week. We will watch.

MORNING REFLECTIONS

It was Sunday, of course. Winter Solstice – the shortest day of the year. The older I get, the more I miss the sunshine, and so I count down the days until we reach what is in some ways a low point. From here we move into Christmas and New Year and the days start to get longer. So, you can say things are looking up… or you can say things are going downhill from there. I know this is open to more than one interpretation, but in this case I mean good way: Little by little we are returning to the light. And that's good.
