‘IT Chapter Two’ Actor Was 46

James Ransoneactor known for his roles in IT Chapter Two And Wiredied. He was 46.

The Film Independent Spirit Award winner was found dead by hanging on Friday in Los Angeles. He apparently committed suicide, according to the county medical examiner. report.

Ransone was born on June 2, 1979, in Baltimore and attended the nearby George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology and later studied at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Some of his early roles include films such as the Larry Clark film. Ken Park (2002), John Waters Dirty shame (2004) and Spike Lee Inner man (2006).

Ransone was known for his horror roles as the adult Eddie Kaspbrak in IT Chapter Two (2019) and unnamed MP Sinister (2012) and Sinister 2 (2015), most recently repeating his Black phone (2021) role of Max in Black phone 2.

His other film credits include Graduation party (2008), Starlet (2012), Spike Lee Red Hook Summer (2012), Oldboy (2013), Cymbeline (2014), Sean Baker mandarin (2015), Mr. Wright (2015), Twins (2017) and V/H/S/85 (2023).

On television, Ransone was best known for his role as Ziggy Sobotka in the second season of the HBO series. Wirealso appeared in episodes CSI, Law and order, Burn Notice, Hawaii Five-0, Tremé, Bosch And Poker Face.

Ransone is survived by his wife Jamie McPhee and their son.
