iPhone Air wins ‘MobileSyrup’s Phone of the Year’

We want to highlight our best smartphones of the year, based on the phones we've come across and that we keep coming back to after finishing our reviews. Dean from MobileSyrup this year reviewed several phones from different manufacturers, including Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Motorola and others.

For the better part of a year, every time he finished a phone review, he returned to Samsung Galaxy S25+. This phone came out in January and I've really enjoyed using the phone because it's not too thick, it doesn't weigh much, it has a great display and processor, and the cameras are decent.

He also loved Nothing Phone 3 due to his Glyph Matrix. Galaxy S25 Edge And Galaxy Z-fold 7 Both were very thin phones that Dean was a big fan of, and Brad Bennett was also very impressed with the devices. John was also very impressed with the Pixel 10 this year: the phone now has a telephoto lens.

However, communicating as a team, we chose Apple's iPhone Air How MobileSyrup's Phone of the year. Brad Bennett and Dean can't stop talking about their love for the iPhone Air. It offers an incredible experience and feels great in your hand thanks to its incredibly thin and light design.

It's definitely a stellar phone for 2025, and foldables aside, Dean and Bennett haven't had people ask about the phone that many times in recent years.
