Invincible Video Game Adds Cecil (Gaming News Roundup)

New updates have been released about Skybound Entertainment's upcoming video game.Invincible VS,” including the addition of Cecil Stedman, a fan-favorite character from Robert Kirkman's comics and Amazon's Invincible series, to the 3v3 fighting game.

To date, “Invincible Vs.has now revealed eight characters that will be included in the action movie: Mark Grayson (Invincible), Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Tula, Rex Splode, War Beast, Omni-Man and Cecil.

According to Skybound Entertainment and Quarter Up's description: “A fan favorite from the Invincible VS series and the comics, Cecil has been one of the most sought-after gaming characters. Most often seen as the voice in Mark's headset, Cecil comes into battle in Invincible VS with special weapons, including plasma pistols, grenade launchers and grenades to keep opponents at a distance. His long-range style of play is doubles. with tactical combat allowing him to play cat and mouse with his enemies. Want more? Cecil can also call in an unlimited supply of Reanimen for reinforcements; With access to the Hammer, a massive orbital laser, he is a destructive force on the battlefield.”

Additionally, on Thursday, Invincible VS developers and Kirkman revealed new details about the game's story mode, which “plays like a special extended episode of the show, featuring all of the currently announced playable characters – and hints at the introduction of an entirely new character who has not yet appeared anywhere in the Invincible Universe.”

Amazon Games and Glowmade have launched “King of Meat” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

Developed by Glowmade, King of Meat is a co-op platformer where up to 4 players battle through dungeons filled with puzzles to solve, challenges to overcome, and monsters to fight. Players will compete in official dungeons, community-created dungeons, or explore their creativity by creating unique and fun dungeons for other players.

Players will get the chance to become the ultimate contender, prepare for battle as a dungeon creator, and customize their gameplay. Those who purchase and play King of Meat before October 31st will be able to receive the exclusive MrBeast Pack, which unlocks a series of challenging dungeons. Players who complete all five dungeons will be able to receive an additional rare MrBeast costume.

A new line of seasonal clothing is now available for Sims in The Sims 4 Fall Apparel Pack for the EA App, Epic Games Store and Steam, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series XS and Xbox One.

The line features a wide selection of cardigans, sweaters, boots, hats and much more. Players can dress their Sims to be either cozy and warm or festive and spooky for the fall season.

IN-GAME EVENTS

On Thursday, Epic Games announced that as part of Fortnite's in-game event “Fortnitemares 2025”, the game will be collaborating with singer Doja Cat as the “Mother of Thorns” who will “transform Battle Royale into her haunted kingdom and unleash chaos on terrified VIPs, including Jason.” Ghostface, REPO and many others.”

Warzone players can look forward to holiday variations of the Verdansk and Rebirth Island maps, the return of the Zombie Royale mode, where slain operatives join the undead army, and more ranked variants of the game.

Meanwhile, The Haunting will offer new Haunted Havoc LTM Zombie gameplay, including pumpkin-headed zombies, special jack-o'-lantern items, and new leaderboard specials.
