An alleged intruder was shot and killed around 7 a.m. Wednesday while trying to force his way into a home in San Bernardino County, California.
Daily Press reported that the alleged intruder, identified as 39-year-old Todd Johnson, was found wounded outside the home when officers arrived on the scene.
In a statement from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department. said“The investigation revealed…Johnson approached the home and attempted to force entry into the home. The occupant of the home shot and killed the suspect.”
The sheriff's department said, “Johnson will remain in custody while he receives treatment and will be charged with residential burglary after medical evaluation.”
No one living in the house was injured during the incident.
