Welcome to the grid
Flatline Studios today officially released its cyberpunk roguelike Into The Grid on Steam Early Access. A small but dedicated team has been working hard to complete the last few updates before release. The developers humorously describe the process as being like two people working on one keyboard, an image that perfectly reflects their dedication and teamwork.
Into The Grid combines a roguelike with the tension of a cyberpunk dungeon. Players are immersed in neon-lit systems where hacking is necessary to open new routes. Along the way, you'll defeat security programs and survive a labyrinth of digital dangers. Despite its Early Access status, the game already contains a significant amount of content, providing players with a rich experience from day one, with even more updates planned in the future.
Priced at €14.99 or US$14.99, Into The Grid will launch with a 10% discount for the first week. Flatline Studios also plans to include the game in several Steam themed packs, along with other indie favorites such as Die in the Dungeon, Gnomes, Nova Drift, and Luck be a Landlord.
Featuring a stylish cyberpunk aesthetic, strategic deck mechanics, and roguelike-like unpredictability, Into The Grid promises to be a unique challenge for players looking to master both the cards and the code. The upcoming Early Access release marks just the beginning of this ambitious indie project, which already has a lot of depth built into it and much more to unlock on the grid.
