Build your galactic empire in Interstellar Space: Genesis
Praxis Games has announced that Interstellar Space: Genesisthe acclaimed 4X turn-based space strategy game is now available on the Epic Games Store. Originally released on July 25, 2019, the game takes inspiration from the classic space strategy games of the 1990s and now offers Epic players a full range of content and expansions.
In Interstellar Space: Genesis, players set out to create a prosperous galactic empire among the stars. They can explore distant systems, send exploration ships in search of hidden treasures, and colonize new worlds. As civilization grows, players must evolve both technologically and culturally, while managing diplomacy or engaging in tactical turn-based combat to expand their influence across the galaxy.
The game has been in active development since its debut and has regularly received free updates that improve the gameplay with new features, balance improvements, and bug fixes. Over time, Praxis Games has also released several major expansions. The Natural Law expansion introduces two new races, nine animated rulers, four new music tracks and additional leaders that enrich the game and add more variety to it.
Following this, Evolving Empires will feature two core systems: Evolutions and Minor Civilizations, adding strategic depth and new opportunities for exploration and interaction. It also introduces seven new leaders and two new music tracks, further expanding the game's features.
Most recently, the Terrains Pack DLC, released on January 31, 2024, improves visual immersion with fourteen new 3D terrains spread across seven biomes, including the Terran, Lava, Ice, and Desert worlds. With deep strategic gameplay and ongoing support, Interstellar Space: Genesis continues to evolve as a rich and rewarding game for fans of the classic galactic strategy game.
