“It’s not good for him to reveal details,” she said. Parade in an interview in January 2025. “I loved him at some point in my life and I don't want to hurt him. Besides, I'm at a different place in my life where I don't have to hand over the dish. My breakup with Joe Koy was the first mature ending to my relationship. My behavior was mature and graceful. I respected the relationship by never divulging what happened, and I liked that version of myself.”
In fact, Chelsea added, “I don't think I've spoken to Jo Koy since we broke up.”
And this is far from the only shift she has made recently.
With an act less edgy but no less funny: “I want people to be happy and prosperous and kind to each other,” she explained on a pal's website. Scott Evans's Guest house series on YouTube in December.
“I had to change my whole personality to become that person,” she said, telling fans, “and I did it, so you can damn well do it too.”
It gets better with age. “I wouldn’t say softer,” she explained, “just pleasant, more refined.”
It helps that she has nothing to be upset about these days.
“My life has turned out exactly the way I hoped it would—it’s more than I hoped for,” she said. Parade. “I had no idea what opportunities I had and that I could live this life and feel so free.”
