The Raptors won back-to-back road wins to recover from a four-game skid. They won 106-96 in Miami on Monday night.
Milwaukee played its fifth straight game without Giannis Antetokounmpo as the two-time MVP recovers from a right calf strain. The Bucks were also missing Kyle Kuzma due to illness. Toronto was without RJ Barrett (knee sprain) or Jakob Poeltl (lower back).
The Bucks have lost 12 of their last 15 games. They will play 11 of their next 14 matches away from home, including five in a row, starting on Sunday and running until December 29.
Sandro Mamukelashvili added 18 points for Toronto. Barnes grabbed 11 rebounds for his 24 points. Jamal Sheed and Immanuel Quickley each had 10 assists.
Bobby Portis scored 24 points, Kevin Porter Jr. had 22 and Myles Turner had 21 for Milwaukee. Porter also had 13 assists and seven turnovers, while Portis grabbed 12 rebounds.
After trailing by as many as 11 points in the first half, the Bucks took a 59-57 lead on Portis' 3-pointer with 10:46 left in the third quarter. Toronto took the lead 48 seconds later when Barnes was caught in a deadlock, drew a foul and converted the Raptors' first free throw attempt of the night to cap the three-point game.
Toronto stayed ahead the rest of the way.
Grady Dick hit a 3-pointer to extend Toronto's lead to 89-80 with 9:30 left, but Milwaukee rallied and cut the lead to 91-88 on Portis' 3-pointer with 7:34 left. Toronto responded with a 10–3 run, making it a 10-point game.
Porter hit a basket to cut Toronto's lead to 101-96 with 2:28 left, but Quickley hit two straight baskets to prevent Milwaukee from getting back into the game.
