Infect Cam Is Launching Next Month on Steam

Save humanity in Infect Cam

Ravenholm Interactive in partnership with indie.iohas confirmed that its intense co-op horror shooter Infect Cam will release on Steam on November 17, 2025. Designed entirely using a first-person camera, the game removes traditional HUDs and on-screen prompts, placing players directly into the chaos of an infection-ridden world. Every moment of survival depends on teamwork, communication and a keen sense of awareness.

What started out as a small experimental project soon gained attention online for its grounded realism and unfiltered presentation. This early concept has now evolved into a full-fledged four-player game that values coordination as much as composure. Each mission requires players to hack, extract, and combat ever-changing infected threats while targets dynamically change to force on-the-fly decisions.

Infect Cam's simplistic design rejects traditional gaming conventions in favor of immersion. Without any directional signs or clues, players must rely on sightlines, sound, and squad communication to stay alive. The TV camera's point of view transforms every movement into a cinematic but nervous perspective, emphasizing tension and realism over spectacle.

Ravenholm Interactive focuses on the anxiety of the unknown rather than scripted horror. By eliminating interface distractions and focusing the entire experience into a single lens, the studio creates a raw form of cooperative fear, a test of survival shaped entirely by instinct and trust. Early prototype videos and behind-the-scenes footage struck a chord with players drawn to their authenticity, leading to a final design that captures the essence of real-life panic through simple tools and general desperation. Infect Cam invites players into a world where fear feels physical and survival depends on the strength of the team around them. So, do you think you are ready to take on this challenge? Find out when the game releases on November 17, 2025.
