The company introduced two new Wi-Fi speakers: Music Studio 5 (LS50H) and Music Studio 7 (LS70H). the larger one offers Dolby Atmos compatibility. Both feature distinctive looks from designer Erwan Bouroullec.

The LS70H is a 3.1.1 channel surround sound speaker that can work as a standalone speaker or in combination with compatible Samsung Wi-Fi speakers, soundbars or TVs. Dolby Atmos sound bars

Meanwhile, the HW-Q990H is an 11.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar that includes surround sound and dual 8-inch wireless subwoofers. The Sound Bar introduces several new features, including Sound Elevation, which moves dialogue to the center of the screen, and Auto Volume, which ensures the same volume on all channels.

Prospects

The soundbars follow the company's new product announcement. Micro RGB TVs and many more products will follow at CES. I reviewed several high quality Samsung soundbars, each of which was designed in Samsung Audio Lab — and expect the Q990H to sound pretty decent. The Wi-Fi speakers are also intriguing. I kind of need this Music Studio 5 (LS50H) just to look at it.

The availability of speakers and soundbars has not yet been announced.
