Solve the mystery in Huntsman
Ten Image Publishing and OnTheHouse Studio have confirmed that Huntsman will be released on PC via Steam on November 27th. This will mark the start of an intense survival horror adventure inside a research facility overrun by spiders. The announcement comes alongside the debut of Creature Features, a new series of trailers highlighting each type of arachnid appearing in the game. Episode One is about the Huntsman Spider and is now available on Steam.
Huntsman places players in Atherton Labs' experimental biosolutions division. It's a place where a normal first day quickly turns into an escape attempt through dark corridors filled with spiders that behave with unsettling realism. The huntsman spider is presented as a fast creature, attracted by the noise of fast footsteps. Stealth allows players to sneak past, and creative use of the environment can provide a distraction during dangerous encounters.
The second episode of Creature Features will be released later this week and will focus on the orb weaver, a spider that lurks overhead and ambushes slow-moving prey. Its preference for staying in one place makes it difficult to spot in dimly lit areas. Therefore, players will have to check their surroundings carefully. Throwing items can cause the orb weaver to retreat for a short time, providing a narrow window of safety.
Episodes three and four will introduce the remaining types of spiders and explain their patterns and behavior to help improve survival strategies. Ten Image founder Chris White noted that the response to the demo was great and that player feedback played an important role in shaping the final version.
Huntsman will release on Steam on November 27th, and the game is already available on your wishlist.
