Hunter Biden is not a fan of Barack Obama. Their families have been feuding since the Obama years. great warning on President Joe Biden as his successor: “Don't underestimate Joe's ability to screw things up.”
It is therefore not surprising that discontent remains among the former president's family members and associates. But, nevertheless, it is still interesting to read about hostility.
Hunter, in an excerpt from journalist Jonathan Karl's forthcoming book “Retaliation: Donald Trump and the Campaign That Changed America,” reveals an incident before his father dropped out of the presidential race that angered him so much that he nearly jumped on stage to confront Barack.
This incident? A fundraiser in Los Angeles in June 2024, during which Obama grabbed Joe by the arm and led him off stage after performing with pseudo-comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
We all, of course, remember the moment when Biden briefly froze in front of Barack. I had to grab him by the hand and take him backstage.
This marks the end of record fundraising for the Democratic Party for Joe Biden's re-election campaign (net profit of $28 million). According to Hunter, this moment made him incredibly angry. So much so that he almost went on an offensive tirade against Obama, punching him in the face and threatening him.
“I knew it would become a meme,” Hunter says in the book. according to Axios. “It made me very, very, very, very angry.”
He added: “I almost jumped up on stage and said, 'Don't you ever fucking do that to the President of the United States again—ever.'
As crazy as he was, Hunter's closest threat came less than two weeks before his father crashed and burned spectacularly during a presidential debate against Donald Trump.
Biden at one point during the debate launched into a meandering monologue about God-knows-what and ended his thoughts with, “We finally beat Medicare.”
Trump later joked: “I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don't think he knows what he said either.”
The rest, as they say, is history. Biden's cognitive decline, actively hidden by Democrats and the media for years, was laid bare for all to see.
Biden: “Making sure that we give every single person the right to what I was able to do with Covid, sorry, with um, dealing with everything that we had to deal with. Look, we finally beat medical care.”
Trump: “Well, he's right. He really beat medical care. Beat her to death.” pic.twitter.com/FL152ERLiR

Biden's speech led NBC News admits it he was “at times… incoherent, incoherent and difficult to hear.” The reality, of course, was that he was all of these things for most of his presidency.
The former first son later claimed that the president Biden took Ambien before that disastrous debate performance, he suggested that the sedative contributed to his father's “deer-in-the-headlights” appearance.
Hunter in an interview with Andrew Callaghan 5 channelsoffered fatigue as an excuse for performing.
“I'll tell you what: I know exactly what happened in this debate,” he said. “Basically, he flew around the world, and the distance he could have flown around the world was three times. He is 81 years old.”
“He's damn tired. They give him Ambien to help him sleep,” Hunter said. “He comes on stage and looks like a deer in the headlights.”
That he is literally “Sleepy Joe” does not explain other high-profile cases of incompetence during his tenure, such as calling for recently deceased congresswomanFor example.

Getting back to fundraising with Obama. You'd think the now-adored prodigal's main concern would be, “Hey, why do you think my dad keeps freezing on stage?” at this moment. But no, it was: “How dare Barack help him get off stage?”
Especially when everyone in the Biden camp knew that he constantly needed help to avoid wandering aimlessly at public events.
In another book called “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” written by Jonathan Allen and Amy Parnes, it was revealed that Biden actually had to be led around at speeches and told where to go by placing neon colored ribbon pieces on the floor.
Was Hunter just as outraged by the people who did this?
