How to watch the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 6 of the 2025 World Series

The 2025 World Series returns to Toronto for the remaining games, and the Commissioner's Cup will be lifted on Canadian soil for the first time since the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies met in 1993.

Game 6 of the Fall Classic will take place at 8:00 pm ET on Halloween (October 31) as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays battle it out for the chance to either take home the title or make it a do-or-die Game 7.

The Blue Jays select Kevin Gausman to start the series-clinching Game 6. Gausman, 34, pitched 6.2 innings of three-run ball, striking out six batters and giving up home runs to Will Smith and Max Muncy. Who did the Jays lose to in that game? Fine…

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will be we'll probably start for the Dodgers to attempt a Game 7. In Game 2, Yamamoto pitched a complete game with one run (his second complete game of the playoffs), striking out eight and giving up four hits.

Where to watch

As the series returns to the Rogers Center, the number of viewing options for Jay fans increases (thankfully).

Although tickets directly from the team are sold out, verified resale tickets still available if you are willing to pay a high price to see the game live.

If you don't want to pay a month's rent to watch the game at Rogers Center, there are several public events (totally free) where you can watch it. City of Toronto hosts World Series Watch Party at Nathan Phillips Square, where everyone can bring chairs, blankets, snacks and drinks.

For anyone west of the city, Mississauga Party Square (nicknamed “Bird's Nest”) will also host a free viewing party, with the pregame broadcast starting an hour before kickoff. If you are east of the city, the city of Ajax is also hosting a World Series viewing party in the meeting room of the Ajax Town Hall with light refreshments. Doors to the event will open at 7:30 pm ET.

If you want to grab a bite to eat or refresh yourself while watching the game, visit bars, pubs and restaurants throughout the city (including Free elk, RendezViews and Real Sports Bar & Grill) will also show games, and some will not book tickets to World Series games at all.

Another free option is local radio. If you're in the GTHA, Calgary or Vancouver area, three Sportsnet-owned radio stations (590, 650, 960 The Fan) will be broadcasting the game with Ben Shulman on the call (note: NHL games in Calgary and Vancouver will affect broadcasts).

If you don't have a real AM/FM radio (or don't want to sit in your car the entire game), I quickly tested three free apps on the Google Play Store called Simple radio, RadioLiAnd FM radio: AM, FM, radio tuner which all work (except for advertising). Some people insist on a subscription, but they can play Sportsnet 590 The Fan just fine and I didn't have to pay anything to listen. If you have access to XM radio ($29.99/month for the Platinum package for MLB streaming.), channels 175 and 176 will broadcast the game, and 175 will broadcast the Sportsnet team.

If you want to relax at home and watch the game on TV, Rogers-owned Sportsnet and CityTV will be broadcasting it on their respective streaming services and satellite TV channels.

Although both will broadcast the game, there will be a cost to do so. Sportsnet+'s current rate for a basic “standard package” is $29.99 per month or $249.99 per year.. A quick note: The Sportsnet+ app on streaming devices can sometimes be buggy and unreliable. The Sportsnet+ webpage also has a package that includes CityTV+ and Sportsnet+ for $31.99 per month if you want a more versatile streaming option that isn't just limited to sports.

If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, you can get a seven-day free trial CityTV+ (which, as mentioned earlier, is streaming the game) via the Amazon Prime Video app.

If you know someone who has a satellite TV subscription, you can use that subscription to log into Sportsnet+ or CityTV+ and stream the game through the platform.
